Ben Mansoor is a seasoned restaurant executive with more than 25 years of proven successes both in the Domestic USA and International markets with some of the most well-known and respected brands in the industry; Wendy’s International, YUM. Most recently Ben held the position Regional Vice President–Latin America and Caribbean for Wendy’s International.
Currently Ben is the Senior Vice President of Wen JAI Restaurant Group. Ben and his partners acquired these stores from The Wendy’s Company in March of 2014. A recognized leader known for crafting the requisite strategic vision to achieve business goals offers a unique blend of executive acumen, team-building, and operational expertise and credited with the development of strong Operations with high ROI and operational improvement at both Pizza Hut and Wendy’s International.
In 1985, at Pizza Hut, one of Ben’s most significant achievements was developing the “Delivery” platform for Pizza Hut. In short 5 years this new business platform was delivering over $100 million in sales. Ben was responsible for site selection, store layout design and formation of management teams.
In 1989, Ben Mansoor was promoted to Divisional Vice President for Pizza Hut and moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico, Ben doubled sales in 4 years and was known to develop talent, share best practices, and have the most profitable Pizza Huts in the system. From Puerto Rico, Ben was asked to move to Buenos Aires, Argentina in the same role. In Buenos Aires he opened the new market for Pizza Hut and was instrumental in the early success.
In 1996, Ben was recruited by Wendy’s International to develop the brand in Argentina. With the successful implementation of the brand, Ben was promoted to Regional Vice President for the entire Latin America and Caribbean Region for Wendy’s International.
While serving as Regional Vice President with Wendy’s International, Ben facilitated a high rate of business expansion, opening 9 new countries and taking a key role in formulating the international business strategy for Wendy’s International. Ben’s career includes ex-pat assignments in Argentina, England, Puerto Rico and extensive travel throughout South America, Latin America, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean.
Ben is fluent in 4 languages and have strong interpersonal and communication skills with individuals at all levels.
